- Loudest way to ring in the new year = The Groggs, Fast Asleep, Family Matters and Mothers at The Blue Lagoon (9 pm/$5 cover)
- Sweatiest way to ring in the new year = BLAST OFF into 211 at Cypress with Brother, Little John, Antacid, Vibrant Eyeris, Digital Honey, Rob Monroy, Mad Zach, Andrew vs. Smasheltooth and Ryan Jay ($5 before 9 pm, $10 after)
- Funkiest way to ring in the new year = Woo Year's Eve with Wooster and The Taxi Project at Moe's Alley (9 pm $12 adv/$15 door).
- Most booty shaking way to ring in the new year = Sambada with Flor de Cana, Yabas Dance Co. and Raizes do Brasil Capoeira at the Catalyst (9 pm $15 adv/$20 door)
